We emphasized the personal connection shoppers have with the brand through the most personal way to shop: right there on your phone.

SHOP LIKE YOUR FAVORITE CELEBS
To help showcase how personal shopping Walmart can be, we enlisted the help of a few iconic Walmart fans to gave shoppers an inside look at how they shop. From an MVP to an EGOT, a beloved Barbie to a loathsome Grinch, we tapped celebs and characters across culture to show off their thing and introduce people to all-new way to discover, shop & share their Walmart.
In the summer, we launched this shopping experience with a few famous faces: Patrick Mahomes enjoying his offseason, Becky G gearing up for tour and Barbie (yes that Barbie), who was busy basking in her biggest summer ever.
Each star let us into their world, to give us a glimpse of how they shop, and how the Walmart app brings different parts of their worlds to life.
For the holidays, we kept it going with John Legend, Emma Chamberlain and the Grinch to share the unique ways each one rings in the most wonderful time of the year.
For the holidays, it was all about diving into their traditions, showing that no matter how you celebrate, Walmart is there to help you pull it all off.
Making it integrated
To Welcome shoppers to the new era of Walmart, our stars brought their Walmart Carts directly to the people, across platforms and formats.
Barbie introduced a live Good Morning America segment showing off her Carts, Patrick Mahomes dropped content live from the ESPYs red carpet, and Becky G hosted a shoppable Walmart livestream along with her mom, Alex.
To make the experience even more shoppable & gift-worthy for the holiday season, we collaborated with John & Emma on exclusive products for their carts, delivered in custom packaging all ready to slip under the tree.
